In between wire-brushing the terminal ends of your battery, it is acceptable to use cola to rip through the corrosion that, incidentally, builds up while you're blinking!
Pour the cola over the terminals and posts of your battery.
As the soda-pop fizzes, it gets deep down to the nitty-gritty, cleaning the posts without actually having to remove the terminals. This is particularly helpful if you are stuck in traffic and need a quick solution to get you rolling again.
When the fizzing has stopped, wipe off the excess soda with a old rag and go on your merry way. You'll know your battery is getting a good charge. Tips & Warnings· As always, with battery acid, burns can occur. Protect exposed skin and eyes.
